After fierce fighting in Germany, Motorola sued Apple back in San Diego Federal Court, the United States, for alleged breach of patent license agreement between Motorola wireless with Qualcomm. The lawsuit is related to the MDM6610 Qualcomm base-band chip, which produced a subsidiary of Qualcomm for use on the iPhone 4S.

This patent was filed on Motorola’s chip against Apple in Germany, last month. Because Motorola considers that this patent is owned by Motorola and Qualcomm, which is bound in a contract. However, the German court decided in early February, Apple does not infringe the patent, since the company founded by Steve Jobs has been paid for the license to Qualcomm.

Qualcomm CEO Paul Jacobs has ever said, Apple has paid a license related to the use of Qualcomm baseband chip is MDM6610. And at the end of last week, Motorola sued Apple back on the same patent. Apple stated that they have a purchase agreement with Qualcomm.
