Fujitsu Primergy server launches Cloud CX400 x86 Extension. Server is claimed to be ready for cloud technology and has a cooling system of water cooling (cooling water through the pipes), not the fan. Country Manager of Platform Product Fujitsu explain this server has only half the size of a standard server rack space. So that users can cut costs, energy efficient and capable optimized for large-scale virtualization.
The use of water-cooling technology is claimed to save investment costs for energy, than when using a cooling fan that is more wasteful. Due to the high functionality and want to save costs and energy, the server is equipped with cooling of the water pipe.
CX400 server is more compact, measuring one-half of the standard server models. Fujitsu makes a server rack includes four independent dual-socket server nodes and 24 drives for local storage into a more compact 2U enclosure. Server Primergi CX series uses an Intel Xeon E5-2600 is guaranteed to be able to send data input and output delivery is fast.
